Like lots and lots of greyhounds are destined to, Furia, Camaron and Capone lived a cruel life without respect or a tiny bit of affection. They were found wandering around the streets in a rough gipsy neighborhood where people don’t act kind towards animals. Badly neglected and underfed, covered with fleas and scars they entered our shelter. Furia and Camaron are rather reticent, Cameron more than Furia, but you can seduce them both with a bit of food. Cameron is a sweet, big, gracious boy but he is still very shy and doesn’t know how to cope with all this sudden attention. He is curious, so he comes sniffing. When you want to pet him, he doesn’t run away but you feel how he numbs but it passes quickly. If you keep petting him, you can feel how he starts to relax. When you finally stop, he asks with his beautiful eyes: ‘please, don’t stop’. Cameron is an accessible dog, he can get his fear under control because he is still young. With a little time and patience this will end well. Who rewards Camaron with a happy life as a ‘couch dog’, after all the misery he has gone through...?
Camaron has been virtually adopted by Annik Janssens en ACE hond Arthur (Thor).
