Update Isidoor, now called Casper, his foster mom tells, September 18th, 2019 :
Casper has been with us since the end of August. He is housebroken and is familiar with the crate. He walks nicely on a leash and can walk off leash in responsible places - which he likes very much. Casper is a smart guy who can cleverly open doors and miraculously steal food ;-) He treats children well. With other dogs does he get along on condition that they let him in his worth and if he can be the leader.
Casper likes company and does not like being alone, has some fear of abandonment, but we are currently working on it.
Update Isidoor, January 4th, 2019 :
Isidoor - now Caspar - is still waiting for a nice new home. Where is that warm basket, with adopters who want to go out with him. Caspar, together with Cafelito 4934 (now Mees), are still staying with the current adoptor. Unfortunately do these two dogs have to stay at home alone for a very long time during the day, something that none of them likes. And this situation will not change in the coming years. Both Caspar and Mees are no longer the youngest, but surely an age of 7 cannot be called old? Both dogs are healthy and would love taking long walks and then doze off beside the bosss feet.
Who still grants Caspar a good number of good years? Caspar and Mees can of course be adopted together, but can also go to a new home separately.
Update Isidoor, August 2nd, 2018 :
Already 7 years ago was Isidoor, now called Caspar, adopted. He was just 4 months old then. Due to changed family circumstances, are the adopters asking us to help find new owners for Caspar, because unfortunately has he been alone at home for a long time, along with ACE boyfriend Mees (Cafelito 4934), who is again up for adoption. A situation that is particularly unpleasant for both dogs. Caspar and Mees can of course be adopted together, but separately is certainly also possible.
Caspar is a nice spotted Pointer cross. He matches well with other dogs and likes playing with them. He also knows how to enjoy himself with a ball. He is not used to cats, so unknown how he reacts towards them. He sleeps in a basket and is neat and housebroken. Caspar does not like driving along in a car. Running of leash in the forest is no problem and he responds well to children. Caspar can be home alone, but of course he has been home for far too long, something that no dog likes.
If you are looking for a good companion, who has been used to being a domestic dog from puppyhood and has time to give him a nice and active life again, should you definitely quickly get to know Caspar.
Original text :
Today was one of these days again... little black sheep... there they were...and then you dont say go back home. Innocent and with little scared eyes... So tiny and small... This is Isidoor, he was dumped together with his brothers and sisters in a carton box, at the gate of the Refugio. Isidoor is safe and sound now. He is a sweet cross Pointer and will become medium-sized. A beautifully spotted male that can still be raised and educated into the dog that you want. The sooner you can start, the better, because young dogs learn the best. Isidoor with the proudly standing tail is ready for it... hes really a sweetheart...
