Monday, October 27th, last year we have collected our Bakun. He arrived in a large bench at 23.30.
From that moment we have welcomed Bakun into our hearts. He is such a very sweet man!
Bakun wasn’t house trained and wasn’t at all used at having a boss. But he learned everything very fast.
After a week he was almost house trained and followed his boss the whole day. We have invested a lot of time in Bakun from the moment he arrived. Outside he is very unsure and doesn’t really like other dogs, he thinks that, when he barks loud enough, they will disappear. In the beginning this was funny but after a while it is not nice to walk with him, not for Bakun and not for us and our neighborhood. In the house everything is fine and he is completely at home. He doesn’t really like visitors except when there are children, he thinks they are wonderful. We think a lot has happened to Bakun before he came to us and that is why he is so unsure. We have decided to take him to a private course with a behavioral therapist. We will start from the beginning. Bakun must learn to trust himself, us and the rest of the world. Slowly things are improving. We consider ourselves lucky with the arrival of Bakun. He is really added value for our family.
