Almost a week further!
Stanzi (Niko) learns a bit everyday: cow, horse, cock, chicken, pigs, goats, other dogs.
He comes across all this on his way and is very curious, sometimes let's himself hear. Tough little guy. After a bit of reassurance everything is ok and he goes to have a sniff, watches and plays. He is super goods with other dogs.
He pees and poops outside already. Walking is going
On the field in our neighbourhood he likes to run around on the 15m line.
We practice if he keeps an eye on me and if he comes to me and he is doing really well.
Stanzi is a fast learner, especially with the treats. He understands that really well.
He can stay in the house without a problem when we are outside together. That is how we practice to stay inside alone.
You can see him grow here, from crying on the first day to watch us outside and then stay on his pillow and wait.
Starting today, I want to practice to let him stay all alone while I go out for a quick trip to a shop.
Stanzi loves to sleep in... this morning it was already 8:30h. When I don't get up immediately he goes back to sleep and quietly waits downstairs untill we go out. And he doesn't do anything inside. Isn't that good!
He is really easy going and cuddly but also is a bit fierce. He is guarding a bit already. Sometimes it seems as if is figuring it out before he reacts.
He is playfull and sweet with Sterre (our grandchild). He looks at her a bit as if she is a puppy (Sterre is 2 years old) and therefore sometimes needs some guidance. Sterre is used to their own dog and is therefore assertive enough to make clear that she doesn't want something, haha.
What a great doggy. We enjoy every minute... next week another week of, lovely.
